A 40-year-old Eunice man, Corey Darnell Jones, faces multiple charges in connection with the burglary and arson of a residence at 141 S. Aymond St., Eunice, on Tuesday.

A house fire at 141 South Aymond is being investigated as a burglary turned into an arson, according to Brandt Thompson, state Fire Marshal deputy chief.

A 40-year-old Eunice woman was charged with simple arson by the State Fire Marshal after a house at 311 North Cane St. burned about 1 a.m. Sunday.
