Man charged in series of thefts from vehicles

A Eunice man has been charged by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office in a recent series of thefts from vehicles.
According to an arrest report, Dusty Joseph Fruge, 19, of 127 Lee Road is charged with 13 counts of simple burglary.
Items were stolen recently from a number of unlocked vehicles in the East Eunice area.
Additionally, Fruge is charged with eight counts of felony theft, three counts of theft and two counts of theft by firearm.
