Barry and Sherry Smith of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kiley Smith, to Stephen Meche, son of David and Donna Meche of Leonville.
Miss Smith is the granddaughter of Red and Martha Prudhomme of Eunice, and the late Calvin and Joyce Smith of Eunice.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Eunice High School and Our Lady of Lake College of Baton Rouge where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse. She is employed by Opelousas General Hospital.
Mr. Meche is the grandson of Donald and Rita Meche of Leonville and the late Rhines and Willie Mae Soileau of Grand Prairie.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Beau Chene High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he received a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. He is employed by S&S Steel in Arnaudville.
The couple will exchange wedding vows during a 7 p.m. ceremony on Friday, April 23, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice.
