The body of former LSUE basketball player Everette Jackson was found about 2 miles downstream from where he was last seen tubing on the Payette River.
The Gem County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday in a press release that a volunteer located Jackson’s body.
Jackson, 21, was then identified by his family, who flew in from Louisiana to help with the search, the sheriff’s office said.
