Richard Loveless initially wanted to construct a race track on about 150 acres of property that is on the Red River in Alexandria. But, as is the case in most instances, life had a different plan.
“I said we could have a four-wheeler track kind of like Mud Fest,” Loveless stated. “When you look at all the regulations with the levee board and zoning for the city, I said I can’t do it.”
