Parish Council to study training for those it appoints

The St. Landry Parish Council decided more work is needed on an ordinance requiring legal and financial training for those people it appoints to boards and commissions. The ordinance was up for adoption at Wednesday’s meeting, but ran into questions from Council member Harold Taylor at a public hearing. Taylor estimated there are 52 boards and commissions with about 250 people serving on them…
