Albert Ray Thomas of Kinder and Gladys Sharhonda Renee Thomas of Kinder announce the birth of their daughter, Khloe Ray Thomas, born on August 1 at the Acadian Medical Center weighing 7 pounds and 3.8 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Edward James Comeaux of Lake Charles, and Jacquoline Marie Jacobs of Houston.
Paternal grandparents are Doris G. Miller of Kinder and Thomas Miller, Jr. of Kinder.
She was welcomed home by Koby Williams, Tyra Thomas, Tynica Thomas and Taylor Renee Thomas.

The Pink Ladies of the Acadian Medical Center held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

They’re Back! In 2004, the three big bad boys of abridgement rewrote history in 90 minutes with “The History of America, abridged”. Now they will shred their way through the greatest books of literature in 90 minutes as Eunice Players’ Theatre presents the comedy, “All The Great Books, abridged”, written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor. This is the second show of the Eunice Players’ Theatre’s 39th season and directed by Debi L. Crawford.

St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice served as the setting for the double-ring, nuptial mass ceremony uniting Elizabeth Ashley Fontenot and Michael Wayne Fontenot, Jr. in holy matrimony. The ceremony was held on June 14 at 7 p.m.
Parents of the bride are Hubert Fontenot of Eunice and Juanita Fontenot of Eunice. Parents of the groom are Michael and Rita Fontenot of Eunice.
Officiating the ceremony was Father Edward Duhon.

Crosstex Energy Services (Eunice plant), a gas processing plant, along with their other multi-state sister plants located in Dallas, Miss, Ala. and Okla. held a calendar contest where employees’ children and grandchildren were eligible to enter.

Sam and Shirley Olivier of Eunice celebrated their 50th anniversary with a renewal of vows on July 12 at the KC Hall.
Deacon David Guillory performed the renewal of vows and an anniversary reception was held immediately following, hosted by the couples’ children.
