CARENCRO – Curley Patin, Jr., 56, of Carencro, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 1:35 p.m. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.

IOTA – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at St. Jules Catholic Church in Petit Mamou, LA for Mary Ena Caswell Stroderd, 93, who died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Lafayette, LA. Fr. Ted Broussard, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Jules Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life was at 4:00 pm on Monday, August 18, 2008, at The New Hope Assembly of God in Eunice for, Helen “Castille” Richard, 58, who passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 in DeRidder. Burial under direction of Ardoin's was to follow in the St. Edward Cemetery in Richard with Pastor Woody Gunnels officiating.

Pearl (Thibodeaux) Labbie, 82, of Eunice, La., died Monday, August 18, 2008, at Oak Lane Nursing Home in Eunice.

Vercie (Richard) Fall, 81, of Eunice, La., died Saturday, August 16, 2008, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La.

-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice for Frances M. Reed, 75, who passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Opelousas General. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with The Reverend Father Ed Duhon Celebrant.
