Park Ranger Jodie Bacque said, “Olivia is a very talented artist. Her photographs show the stark contrast between the wet south and the dry west. The film is very well done and puts the idea of home in perspective: is it a physical place or a place we carry with us anywhere we land?”
Perillo’s photography is inspired by the natural world and captures her observations of her surroundings as she sees them. She documents her home base of south Louisiana and her second home of the American Southwest. Perillo’s work can be seen at oliviaperillo.com.
