Tri-Parish Bank becoming Pedestal Bank

Louisiana Community Bancorp announced that its five subsidiary banks have officially united and are now Pedestal Bank.
The existing charters of the Louisiana-based banks — City Savings Bank, Coastal Commerce Bank, Kaplan State Bank, Teche Bank and Trust and Tri-Parish Bank — have combined into one charter with a new bank name.
The newly named Pedestal Bank is under the same ownership with same local management team and board of directors.
Mark Folse, CEO of Pedestal Bank, said in a news release, “As we first communicated last year, our banks have shared common management and ownership for more than three years, this transition merely combines our five banks into one.”
Folse added, “Operating as five separate brands hindered our ability to deliver our full resources to our customers. Our new integrated brand will allow us to offer an even better customer service experience and enhanced technology and products – the right size with the right service,” Folse said.
With about $1.2 billion in assets, Pedestal Bank becomes one of the 10 largest banks rooted in Louisiana. The bank’s expanded network will offer 24 locations serving 11 parishes.
