EUNICE ~ Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Anderson Allen, 85, will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 11:00 A. M. at St. Mathilda C. C. in Eunice, LA. Visitation will be observed from 8:00 A. M. until service time in Bishop Ceasar Hall. Burial will be in St. Mathilda C. C. Cemetery. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate the funeral services.
On Thursday, January 11, 2018, the Angels of the Lord journeyed to Beatrice’s residence and escorted her to her eternal home.
Cherishing fond memories of he will be three children: Cass (Elnora) Allen of Houston, TX, Veronica Allen Lee and Cassandra Allen both of Eunice, LA; one brother, Nelson (Virgis) Anderson of Houston, TX; one brother-in-law: Louis Doyle, Sr. of Eunice, LA; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Louis Allen, Sr.; her parents: Furnes and Enoice Anderson; two sons: Leroy Allen, Sr. and Louis Allen, Jr.; one daughter, Peggy Allen Common; three brothers: Milton Anderson, Houston Anderson, Sr., and Austin Anderson; and four sisters: Joyce Anderson Newsby, Wilma Anderson Allen, Grace Anderson Patton and Hilda Anderson Doyle.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
