EUNICE–It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dianne Young announces the passing of their beautiful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend at the age of 76. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Pastor David Greene, officiating.
Dianne was an amazing seamstress and loved spending time with her family. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her family, including her husband of 23 years, Jimmy “Pelock” Young of Basile; daughter, Prudence Menier and husband, Patrick of Coden, AL; sister, Saundra Swan and husband, Sterling of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Samuel Fruge and Jasmine of Mobile, AL, P.J. Menier and wife, Alyssa of Irvington, AL, and Lillian Fruge of Coden, AL; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded by her husband, Ferrel Fruge; son, Jonathan Fruge; daughter, Amelia Fruge; and parents, Clifford and Lilllian Piersall Sonnier.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, April 19 from 12 noon until 8 p.m., and again on Wednesday, April 20 from 8 a.m. until time of services.
