EUNICE–It is with heavy hearts that the family of Everett E. Rheams announces his passing on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Camelot Place of Crowley at the age of 65.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Pastor Brent Shoalmire officiating.
Everette had a great love for his family and for his network of friends. He was an oilfield driller for most of his life and enjoyed cooking and having suppers. He was a great host to his friends and family and also built houses.
He is survived by his daughter, Yvette Shackelford and companion, James Kushmerick of Brookville, MD; sister, Sheila Rheams of Dequincy, LA; grandson, Gunner Tyson Shackelford; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Errol Rheams; parents, Nolan and Ethel LeBeau Rheams; and brother, Gary Nolan Rheams.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of services.
