Eunice-With a heavy heart we announce Keno’s passing at Lafayette General Medical Center on Saturday, February 13, 2021 after a massive heart attack on January 18 and many complications.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Keno was a lifelong resident of Eunice, graduated from St. Edmund High School in 1964 and USL in 1970. He was co-owner of Charles Guillory Inc., a general contractor and plumber. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Keno was the founder of “The Sweet Lake Social Club” where many hands of Bourre were played and many good meals were enjoyed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his brother Charles A Guillory of Eunice; his son Gerald L Guillory and wife, Vanessa LeBlanc Guillory and a grandson Zachary B Guillory all of Lake Charles; former wife and friend, Zelphia Reeves Merkel of Baton Rouge; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles M Guillory and Ethel “Tel” Comeaux Guillory, sister Ramona Guillory Fontenot  and sister in law Elaine Courville Guillory.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20 from 1 p.m. until time of services.
