Pearl Mae Prather Young passed away on Friday, September 2, 2017, at the age of 87.
No services have been scheduled at this time.
Pearl is survived by one son; James M. Young, Jr. and wife Debbie of Eunice, one daughter;
Peggy Y. Adams and husband Jack of Thibodeaux, three brothers; Shelby Prather of Eunice,
Floyd Prather of Eunice and Willis Prather of Colfax, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren,
and two great grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; Arthur Prather and Ola Mae Wittington and her husband,
James Monroe Young Sr., three sisters; Ruby Brook, Isabelle Friend, Edna LeBouef, six brothers;
Melvin Prather, Napoleon Prather, Clyde Prather, Clarence Prather, Vernon Prather and George Prather.
Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
