EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Sittig announces his passing on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette at the age of 75. A Celebration of Life was celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Brother Carl Pierrotti, officiating.
Ronald loved to play the harmonica and loved his dog, Bitsie. He also loved his family and spending time with them brought a great deal of joy to his life. He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved him especially his wife, Judy Sittig of Eunice; his three sons, Clint Sittig and wife, Tammy, Donnie Sittig and Ronald Sittig, Jr and wife, Tabitha all of Eunice; his three brothers, Larry Sittig and Joseph Thomas Sittig both of Eunice and Alvin Moss of Biloxi, MS; his sister, Janet Weber and husband, Wade; his fifteen grandchildren, Emily Sittig, Natalie Ashford, Alli Sittig, Harlee Sittig, Jeslyn Carrier, Donnie Sittig, Marilyn Sittig, Da’shae Davis, Keloha, Kelani, Kilia and Kayne Sittig, Paige Boenig, Charlie Boenig and JoAnna Carol and eleven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Moss; father, Armand Sittig; daughters, Chassity Sittig and Ann Renee Boenig; son, Shane Sittig; granddaughter, Icelynn Sittig; grandson, Nicholas Sittig and a sister, Barbara Sittig.
At the request of the family, visitation was held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, February 26 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, February 27 from 8 a.m. until time of services.
