EUNICE~It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah “Sally” Smith announces her passing on Tuesday, October 02, 2018 at Eunice Manor at the age of 80.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 05, 2018 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Gary Mitchell officiating.
Sarah known to many as Sally was a CNA at the old Eunice Nursing Home in Eunice. She enjoyed doing ceramics but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them was a great joy to her.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her especially her husband of fifty two years, Vernon Smith of Eunice; two sons, Robert Mcleod, Jr of Baton Rouge and Jody Michael Vicaro of Eunice; a daughter, Carol Myers of Baton Rouge; nineteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, three great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Samuel Joseph Vicaro, Jr.; her daughter, Wain Smyth; and eight siblings.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, October 05, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of services.
