CROWLEY – A man accused of aggravated rape of a juvenile has been sentenced to 16 years in prison on a reduced charge.

Clifton Freeman pleaded no contest in March to a reduced count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered.

Judge Glennon Everett, as is customary, sealed that investigation’s findings when sentencing Freeman, who will be given credit for time served since his arrest on Nov. 11, 2009.

A second count of aggravated rape of a juvenile was dismissed.
