South Louisiana rice growers will have the opportunity to learn about water efficiency experiments and overhead irrigation.
There will be a field tour of RiceTec yield trials; exhibits on water management and efficiency experiments, including overhead sprinkler irrigation; and information about seed quality, weed and disease management, and nitrogen fertilizer management
The tour begins at 5 p.m. and concludes with dinner.
To reach the farm from Crowley:
North on Hwy 13 for 10 miles. Right onto Hwy 365 for four miles. Left onto Hwy 367, continuing north for two miles. Left onto Cole

From Eunice:
