Eunice High School Renaissance Pep Rally

Eunice High School held its annual Renaissance Academic Pep Rally Friday morning with a program themed, “Excellence through the Decades.”
The pep rally gives students an opportunity and privilege of earning and winning T-shirts, prizes, electronics, awards, and much more, for their hard work earned in the classroom.
Many sponsors and businesses donate to the event every year.

Eunice Children's Mardi Gras parade

The Eunice Children’s Mardi Gras run was held Sunday. The parade was held at 1 p.m. instead of the usual 3 p.m. due to possible rainy weather. The parade began at North 2nd, continued through downtown and onto Park Avenue.

Eighth annual Parade of Paws

The eighth annual Parade of Paws parade was held Saturday at 3 p.m. on downtown South 2nd.
Organizer and event planner Jerica Guillory held registration in front of Beaucoup on S. 2nd for the event before the parade began. There were over 40 entries.
At the conclusion of the parade, first, second, and third place winners were named and awarded cash prizes. Ribbons of winners were named, The Most Creative, Cajun Classic and Mayor’s Selection and Totally Unpredictable.
