An armed robber forced his way through the rear of the GameStop store near Walmart and took what police said was an undetermined amount of money at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said three employees were in the store at 1609 Highway 190 when the robbery occurred.
During the incident a shot was fired.
The police logs indicate a .45-caliber casing was located.
There were no injuries reported.
The robber, who was identified as a black male despite being covered head to toe, left the store through the back door, he said. He also forced an employee to accompany him to the rear door, he said.
