A 20-year-old Eunice man was arrested by and charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
Eunice city marshal deputies arrested Doyle.
DeVidre Domal Doyle, of the 500 block of Fred Street, is accused of shooting at a vehicle with two occupants at Fred and Nimitz streets, he said.
Doyle was out of jail on bail awaiting trial on a charge of attempted first-degree murder on Oct. 26, 2019, Fontenot said.
Fontenot said the shooting that occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Monday is still under investigation.
There were no reported injuries in the shooting.
Fontenot said warming weather has resulted in an increase in shooting reports in Eunice and elsewhere.
In Eunice, the shootings are usually connected, he said.
