One man’s loss leads to 3 arrests

One man’s loss of a bag of crystal meth in Walmart Thursday led to his arrest and two others, according to Eunice Police Detective Robert Brickley.
Three people in Walmart were being observed when one of them dropped a bag on the floor at about 2 p.m. Thursday, Brickley said.
A manager picked the bag up, suspected it contained a drug and called police.
Brickley responded and determined the bag contained crystal methamphetamine and began observing the trio.
At one point one of the men walked out of the store wearing a coat and hat taken from the store, but returned, he said.
Kerry Paul LeBouef was identified as the person who dropped the clear plastic bag, he. LeBouef along with two other people were detained.
Arrested were:
Staci L. Cernek, 41, 100 block of Fairway Drive, Elton. Two counts of Schedule II drugs (crystal meth), two counts of possession of Schedule IV drugs (altrazolam), possession of legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
LeBoeuf, 37, 300 block of North Sherman, Jennings. Theft by shoplifting, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (crystal meth), resisting and officer and obstruction of justice.
Sherman LeBlue, 31, 1400 block of Black Avenue, Basile. Possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II (crystal meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
