MOREAUVILLE – The Eunice defense recovered a fumbled snap on a two-point conversion attempt as the Bobcats held on for a 21-20 win over the Avoyelles Mustangs.
Eunice took a 21-14 lead with 8:02 left in the game, but the Mustangs mounted a time-consuming drive sparked by a long run by Sampson and aided by a face mask penalty on the Bobcats.
