Someone drove into Randy’s Payday Loans on Main Street, near the railroad tracks, very early Saturday morning, October 25. When the Ville Platte Police Department arrived on the scene, the vehicle had left the area. Police Chief Neal Lartigue said the incident is under investigation and they have a suspect. He said charges, which include leaving the scene of an accident, are pending. No injuries were reported.
