Randle, one of the top players in the Class of 2009, made the announcement just before 2 p.m. Wednesday at a press conference in Bastrop.
Randle played quarterback in high school. He will be a receiver at LSU. He also looked at Alabama, Auburn and Oklahoma before deciding to stay in Louisiana.
