Shortly before noon, police received a complaint of a man either naked or in his underwear riding a bicycle at 4th & Vine.
He was so into his ride that he didn’t stop for responding officers until he had crossed West Laurel and reached the vicinity of Nick’s on 2nd Street.
Officers noted he was not naked.
He told them that he was just trying to catch a tan on a gorgeous day - wearing only his Speedo.
They encouraged him to tan in his back yard, or at a salon, and bike ride wearing more traditional attire.
