Lt. Edward L. Glaze, 29, is reported seriously wounded in Korea. His wife is the former Gloria Bushnell. Glaze served 33 months in World War II and was wounded on the German front. He was assistant athletic director at Pine Prairie High when recalled to active duty last year.
Patricia Erin Manuel is among the 2,600 students this fall at Lamar State College of Technology, Beaumont. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dubuisson Manuel, 740 West Reed Ave.
Miss Mary Lynn Fuselier was queen of the St. Edmund Homecoming. Honor maids were Carolyn Aguillard and Gwen Heinen. Court maids were Ann Rozas, Winoa Dischler, Sybil Sonnier, Eugenia LaHaye, Marqueta Fuselier, Jolene Manuel, Jeanette Manuel and Genevieve Comeaux.
Priscilla Brown is queen of the Eunice High Homecoming. Members of her court are Norma Jean Odom, Verna Lavergne, Gloria O’Brien, and Becky Lowe. Maids are Earlene Bryan and Jo Ann Dearman.
Betty Randel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Randel, and Jeanette Stark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stark, were initiated into Lamba Omega honor society at Southwestern Louisiana Institute.
