September 11
Chase Emil Deville, 30, 500 block of Highway 190, Eunice. Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS, possession of schedule I CDS (2 counts), possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, violation of uniform CDS law (drug free zone). Arrested by Eunice Police Department.
Dustin Drake Sonnier, 22, 100 block of Norma Avenue, Eunice. Aggravated battery, criminal damage to property. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

06:26 Female in the 400 block of Cotton said male threw a box fan at her last night. He is now at residence collecting items.

Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police.
September 11
Chaddick Demione Senegal, 25, 300 block of Cotton Street, Eunice. Domestic abuse battery (child endangerment), unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting an officer, aggravated flight in a vehicle, attempted first-degree murder of a police officer, aggravated assault with a motor vehicle upon a police officer, no driver’s license and simple criminal damage to property.
Ryan Laughlin, 41, 400 block of Beck Miller Road, Eunice. DWI, careless operation. Arrested by State Police.

A four-vehicle wreck occurred at about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday on La. 13 South, nearb the Cleco plant. First responders on the scene included Acadian Ambulance, Acadia Sheriff, Eunice City Marshals, and Eunice Fire Department. According to Louisiana State Trooper Miller, “One vehicle was stopped preparing to turn into the Cleco plant when it was hit from behind by a vehicle that was rear-ended by a third vehicle, then a fourth vehicle rear-ended the third. “There were no injuries reported.
