Robin Nicole Landry, 37, 1300 block of North Wilderness Trail, Carencro. Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, criminal trespass. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Department.
Lindsy Coe Tabor, 35, 600 block of Meche Road, Arnaudville. Battery of a dating partner. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Department.

Ryan Scott McCauley, 27, 100 block of Spanish Moss Lane, Opelousas. False personation of a peace officer. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Department.

06:37 Caller said two men in an older model Toyota picked up man.

Police: Eunice homeowner thwarts burglary; gets shot

A Eunice homeowner stopped the burglary of his pickup truck at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday, but was shot in the stomach and is in critical condition at a Lafayette hospital, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
The incident occurred in the 500 block of Juanita Street.
“It appears right now that it was an attempted car burglary,” Fontenot said.
A suspect or suspects drove up to the house and got of their vehicle, but were surprised by the homeowner, he said.
