The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
June 21 - 24
George Marshall Collet, 40, 200 block of Rue Destin, Sunset. Bench warrant (Two counts). Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Ricky P. Arnaud, 25, 1600 block of Highway 167, Opelousas. DWI first offense, careless operation of a motor vehicle. Arrested by Louisiana State Police.

Qiana S. Orville, 21, of Opelousas, was killed in a single vehicle fatality crash on La. 167 near Bellridge Road in St. Landry Parish at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
State Police report the crash occurred as Orville was driving a 2002 Toyota Sequoia northbound on La. 167. For unknown reasons, as Orville entered a curve to the left the vehicle traveled off the roadway to the right and struck a tree.
Despite the fact that she was properly restrained, Orville suffered fatal injuries.
