Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police.
June 9
Terry Demondre Desmond, 20, 400 block of Jelks Street, Eunice. No driver’s license, no insurance, windshield view obstructed by tint.
Jake N. Lanclos, 23, 4300 block of Highway 10, Washington. Possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

13:39 Subject high on crack and won’t take care of children in the 600 block of Faris.
15:38 Caller from Acadian Medical Center said his wife smoked “legal weed.”
17:06 Undressed woman walked into repair shop asking for help in the 1800 block of Amazon.

Sheriff: Charge upgraded against Banshees leader

The charge against a man identified as a leader in the Banshees motorcyle club has been upgraded from attempted manslaughter to attempted second-degree murder, St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said in a news release.
Guidroz said on Friday that John D. Pastorick, 67, 223 Shelton Manuel Road, Eunice, was back in jail on the new charge with bail set at $100,000.
“...additional evidence was uncovered to allow the charges to be upgraded,” Guidroz said.
