Two Eunice Police officers said they smelled marijuana in a car stopped near Fred’s on Wednesday, but they ended up finding much more — $4,655 in cash.
Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said Lt. Jeremy Ivory and Sgt. Quitin Doyles were following up on an investigation and information received about a vehicle.
The department’s radio logs stated that at 2:08 p.m. an unknown caller advised that “Goldmouth” was exchanging drugs at Fred’s.
