Oct. 17
07:23 Woman said her brother-in-law cursed her kids before they got on school bus in the 2100 block of West Magnolia.
08:48 Disturbance in the 600 block of Faris.
10:50 Lobby complaint about stolen debit card.
13:06 Wreck at 1051 W. Laurel.
13:30 Caller said he found he located his stolen bike. Subject refused to stop on Juanita Street.
16:39 Caller from 1300 block of Nile said his uncle spit in his face and he wants to speak to an officer.

Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police.
Oct.. 17
Calandra A. Preston, 31, 100 block of Old Spanish Road, Opelousas. Principle to forgery warrant.
Dustin Higginbotham, 33, 100 block of Robinson Road, Elton. Warrant for criminal mischief.
Edwin H. Fruge, 64, 5300 block of Gumpoint Road, Eunice. Expired license plate, failure to carry registration, no insurance and suspended driver’s license.

Church Point Police capture shooters

Police have captured another suspect following an October 6 shooting on Martin Luther King Dr. in Church Point.
Royel Williams was arrested and booked with an attempted second degree murder charge and aggravated assault, thanks to the help of the Rayne Police Department.
Robert “Tweety” Wheeler, the other suspect, was arrested on attempted second degree murder, two criminal conspiracy charges and aggravated assault.

Oct. 16
04:16 Break-in in the 500 block of East Ash.
04:29 Male in the 500 block of East Ash was yelling at officers and is intoxicated. He was advised that when he sobers up he can call and a report will be made.
06:03 Damage to property at Ruby’s Cafe.
07:02 Man who was under carport in the 500 block of Ida was advised to move in after a few words were exchanged.
08:59 Bike found at the walking park.
09:31 Lobby complaint about hit and run on private property.
