Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police.
June 16
Russell Paul Jacobs, 36, 200 block of North 9th Street, Eunice. Arrest warrant for hit and run.
Logan Scott Roy, 19, 1700 block of Providence Highway, Ryan. Stop sign violation, safety belt use, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dave Peres, 30, 100 block of Mill Street, Eunice. Theft of shoplifting of goods, possession with intent to distribute Schedule 4 drug.

05:25 Caller said three juveniles broke into his vehicles in the 300 block of East Peach.
06:58 Vehicle glass being broken in the 300 block of Clark.
7:46 Woman in the 200 block of College said someone left shoes at her garage door.
09:08 Caller in the 300 block of Clark Avenue someone broke into her vehicle and stole her keys.
09:35 Caller wants to speak to an officer about a TV stolen at True Vine Church, 200 S. Martin Luther King.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
June 19
William Wade Williamson, 24, 200 block of Bosco Hwy., Church Point. Domestic abuse battery.
Simar K. Bennett, 65, 300 block of Joli Rd., Carencro. Carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Arrested by Leonville Police Dept.
Christopher James Riggs, 35, 200 block of Gulino St., Opelousas. Resisting an officer, 6 counts of simple assault, refusal to give correct name, monetary instrument abuse, 2 counts of simple burglary, criminal mischief. Arrested by Arnaudville Police Dept.

Prostitution charge filed in massage parlor arrest

Prostitution charges have been filed in an arrest at a local massage parlor.
Police Chief Carroll J. Stelly said officers executed a search warrant at Asian Spa Massage Parlor at 1405 The Boulevard at about 8:30 p.m. June 7.
The action followed a week-long investigation for prostitution related offenses, according to Stelly.
Officers arrested Zhou Xinfeng, 64, a permanent resident from the People’s Republic of China. Xinfeng was charged with prostitution by massage.
Stelly said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
