The following are excerpts from the Eunice Police Department radio logs.
Nov. 5
06:21 Disturbance in the 600 block of Bernice.
06:30 Mother in the 200 block of Acadia needs an officer to talk to daughter about going into school.
07:22 Wreck at Bobcat and Maple at stop sign. Hit from behind. No injuries. Possible road blockage.
07:26 Caller from 200 block of Lafayette said someone broke in and is hiding in the attic.
07:31 St. Landry Parish picking up one.
08:44 Wreck at Bobcat and U.S. 190. Blockage and no injuries.

Sunday shooting victim ID’d

Police have officially released the name of the man killed in a shooting here Sunday afternoon.
According to Police Chief Jimmy Broussard, Brydon “B.K.” Gray, 26, died after being shot multiple times outside a residence in the 700 block of Leslie Amos Street around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Police have not named a suspect in the shooting, however, Broussard said investigators “are following several leads in reference to identifying a person of interest.”
