October 31
Alshamir Casaine Mckoy, 20, 400 block of Toby Mouton Road, Duson. Bench warrant.
Desmon Williams, 23, 800 block of South Beulah Street, Eunice. Simple burglary.
David W. Benoit, 67, 300 block of West Elm Street, Crowley. Hit and run driving, stop and yield sign violation and no insurance.
William Joseph Fontenot, 48, 200 block of Acadia Street, Eunice. Bench warrant.

Duson Police are investigating a quick change scam that occurred at Miss Mamie’s, located at 257 Austria Rd. The incident took place at about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 13.

Duson Police are investigating a quick change scam that occurred at Miss Mamie’s, located at 257 Austria Rd. The incident took place at about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 13.
An unknown suspect used a $50 bill to pay the store clerk. During the transaction the subject asked for his change in different denominations, changing his mind each time and confusing the cashier. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
October 31
Quan’dareian Andrus, 20, 400 block of East Jefferson Street, Opelousas. Attempted second-degree murder, possession of Schedule I CDS, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I drugs, illegal possession of weapons in presence of CDS, resisting an officer, possession of a firearm with a obliterated serial number. Arrested by Opelousas Police.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
October 30
Paulos Jerome Breaux, 31, 100 block of Lastraps St., Grand Coteau. Seven counts possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS, two counts possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts resisting an officer, illegal window tint, two counts 2 no turn signals, reckless operation, flight from an officer. Arrested by St Landry Parish Sheriff Department.

08;20 Male flagged officer down and threw a $100 bill and refused to take it back in the 600 block of West Vine.
09;56 Caller from 1900 block of West Park said there have been charges on his debit card.
10:00 Stolen property at Best Western.
10:47 Caller said her niece was suspended at Central Middle School and refuses to leave.
