St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Sept. 6
Dominick Joseph Levier, 23, 400 block of West Maple Avenue, Eunice. Illegal carrying of weapons in presence of CDS, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS, possession drug paraphernalia, possession of firearm with obliterated serial number. Arrested by Eunice Police.

5 teenagers arrested for theft of horses in St. Landry Parish

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) Livestock Brand Commission arrested two adults and three juveniles for theft of livestock. Investigators said the suspects are accused of stealing six horses from a local livestock market. The estimated value of the six horses is $2,200.
The adult suspects are identified as 18-year-old Desment D. Green, 200 block of Oleander St., Opelousas, and 17-year-old Keyondra Cain, 1300 block of Julie Street, Opelousas. The juveniles are 14, 15 and 16 years old.

Sex offenders arrested in Acadia Parish

As a result of recent sex offender checks performed by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana Probation and Parole agents, three Acadia Parish men have been arrested for violation of their registration requirements.
Ryan C. Briscoe, 31 of Church Point, has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on a felony warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and failure to provide community notifications as a Tier I sex offender.

11:40 Caller from 1400 block of Dudley said he gave a woman a ride home and she took his phone.

Sept. 4
De’omante Frank, 19, 600 block of South East, Eunice. Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II drugs less than 28 grams, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I drugs less than 28 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a felon.
