As part of Central Middle School’s “Navigating Futures’ learning and interacting experiences Central Middle School sixth-grade science classes traveled to Eunice High School’s senior physics class on Feb. 12 to learn more about science and physics.
Students met inside the high school’s auditorium where a table was set upon the stage in which physics students introduced different physics topics and allowed Central Middle volunteers on stage to do ‘hands-on’ experiments.
Under the leadership and direction of EHS physics teacher Therese D. Gianfala students learned more about momentum, collision, work and energy, and much more.
“Not only was this interaction and learning experience interesting for my students, but it also served as a fun science event. It also prepares our students for high school,” said Ranolviaun Landry, principal at Central Middle.
