Highland Elementary’s top Accelerated Readers visit State Capitol

Recently students from Highland Elementary traveled to the state capitol in Baton Rouge for a field trip. Students attending the field trip were rewarded because of their AR achievements and goals since the beginning of the school term. State Rep. Phillip DeVillier met with the students and shared informative facts about the state capitol. Students in attendance included, Alondra Garcia, LaShyra Harvey, Amiah LeBlance, TyJawan Pickney, Kylie Poullard, Kyler Thomas, Kario Bryant, Marshailyn Belton, Jaden Reed, Keenan Butler, Aniya Strauss, Aninylah Mose, Destiny Reed, Kaylee Gaspard, Ja’Morris Castille, Bryanna Scott, Ambria Minor, Javilynn LeBleu, Scott McKenzie, Kev’vonna Hill, Jy’terrius Dupre, Tyja Cooper, Da’laysia Green, Fajah Guillory, Katera Ceasar, Donte Savoy, Katera Ceasar, Donte Savoy, Wesli Reed, Colston Guillory, De’Marion Levier, Olivia Scott, Braylen Coco, Jalen Carmouche, Janna Semien, Alyssa Benoit and Daisjdrion Hill.
