Recently students from Highland Elementary traveled to the state capitol in Baton Rouge for a field trip. Students attending the field trip were rewarded because of their AR achievements and goals since the beginning of the school term. State Rep. Phillip DeVillier met with the students and shared informative facts about the state capitol.
