Philomena Bernard with St. Mathilda KPC Ladies Auxiliary prepares fried catfish to add to plate lunches of fried catfish, court-boullon, sweet peas, and a dessert, all for a donation of $8. The plates lunches were available on Ash Wednesday. The St. Mathilda Catholic Church members will continue to serve fish lunch plates every Friday through the Lenten season, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with a pickup at the Bishop Ceaser Center.
