Rotary seeks nominations for Administrative Professional

The Eunice Rotary Club is seeking nominations for the 2019 Eunice Administrative Professional of the Year. The winner will receive a free trip to Branson, Missouri; courtesy of KEUN Radio, $500 spending money from the Rotary Club, a plaque and a flower arrangement. The event will be held May 1.

Scott man arrested in Mire killing

A 54-year-old Scott man has been arrested on charges of aggravated burglary and first-degree murder, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson in news release. Deputies responded to an address in the 200 block of Estella Lane north of Mire.
