St. Landry and Evangeline parish deputies arrested a 16-year-old male after a pursuit on La. 1168 — Belaire Cove Road — at about 4 p.m. Sunday.
The teen traveled into Evangeline Parish at about 40 mph and the pursuit ended when he collided with an Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s unit in the 800 block of Belaire Cove Road between Gabrielle Road and Jaco Lane, according to a news release from the Evangeline Parish Sheirff Eddie Soileau.
The teen was taken into the custody by the St Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office and taken to a juvenile center after being evaluated for injuries.
An investigated revealed two other stolen 4-wheelers being recovered.
