xAn erosion project started last Monday and ended Friday with Gulf Inland Contractors out of Houma making a boarded roadway to get an excavator and man power from West Ash to the Maple Avenue bridge. According to Shane Dupre, “We made a boarded roadway to do repairs of a pipeline from Williams Pipeline near the bridge. It’s an erosion repair work. All dirt on top of pipelines erodes, and we hauled truck loads of dirt to place on top of pipelines and also loads of rip raft rocks in place.” (Photos by Myra Mi
