With the excitement of capturing the program's sixth NJCAA National Championship still fresh in their minds, several LSU Eunice baseball players are back in action in summer collegiate leagues throughout the country.
Incoming, current and outgoing LSU Eunice players are spread out over eight different summer leagues.
Many of those organizations use wooden bats instead of aluminum for gameplay.
The Henderson Flash of the Ohio Valley League will have a trio of Bengals with Evan Keller, Cameron Wiley and Bradley Gay suiting up for the Kentucky-based team. Gage Trahan and Oliver Campbell are also part of the OVL, playing for the Muhlenburg Stallions.
The two most northern Bengals will be back in familiar territory with Nathan Holmes (Mohawk Valley) and Stephen Koza (Albany) seeing time in the New York-based Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
Tristan Welch will also be in the Empire State with the Westhampton Aviators of the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League.
The Midwest will be the summer home for several LSUE Bengals as Slate Fuller (Dansville), Noah Beason (Dansville), Elijah Mundy (Clearwater), Brian Fairbanks (Clearwater), Nick Bellina (DuPage County), Bren Faulk (DuPage County), Landon Clifton (St. Cloud) and Mason Templet (Rockford).
The local summer league team, the Acadiana Cane Cutters, will have Koi Westbrook and Tyler Booth suit up for the Texas Collegiate League squad.
