I have had enough

Enough is enough!
The months of January and February of this year went well enough. Then the month of March came with a different kind of scenario that none of us have ever experienced before called coronavirus.
Our lifestyle has never been the same since March. The COVID-19 pandemic has messed up everyone’s lifestyles, and for some of us, our health, and yet others have faced death of their loved ones and friends. Our businesses, schools, restaurants, retail stores, bars, vacation spots have never been the same since March. Our school children, teachers, administrators, business owners, have suffered a great loss-mentally, physically and economically.
I’m grateful that all churches have remained opened for prayer and worship, through virtual social media at the beginning of this pandemic, and most recently church buildings have opened for its members and visitors to pray and worship.
The state of Louisiana has also endured tropical storms and hurricanes. Most recently one of the biggest hurricanes to hit Louisiana, Hurricane Laura, will make history for its total destruction of cities and communities. Many families are displaced and are without a home.
Today is Thursday, and here approaches yet another hurricane heading for our state, Hurricane Delta. The unknowns are upon us yet again.
If we can all survive this unknown virus pandemic, and past tropical storms and Hurricane Laura, and future unknowns that may come our way, we will all come out stronger and better for it.
If anything good has come out of 2020 thus far, I feel it is that we have grown to become a little more compassionate, empathetic towards others, even strangers, and caring, giving, helpful to others around us. It may have been something very small to you, but yet meant something very big to a stranger, that you did your part to help. (This statement I made, I’m speaking of myself, my friends and my family. I hope this is how you feel too.)
So with all of this said and my heart-felt feelings poured out to you, let’s hold on, ride the ride of yet another hurricane together.
