Suspect in Turkey Creek murder arrested in Oklahoma

Leland Hamm,  wanted in connection with the July 1 murder of a Shreveport man in Turkey Creek. has been arrested in Oklahoma.
KOKI Fox 23 News in Oklahoma reported on Nov. 25 that Hamm had been arrested in a parking lot of a Lowe’s in the town of Owasso, Oklahoma.
Fox 23 News stated that the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force said they arrested Leland Hamm, the last of nine individuals wanted in connection with the murder.
U.S. marshals apparently informed the task force that Hamm, 42, may be in the area and after surveying multiple areas, officers located Hamm inside the Lowe’s. Authorities waited until Hamm was done shopping and arrested him once he came outside.
KLFY 10 in Lafayette reported that online records indicated that Hamm is being held without bond in the Tulsa County jail on a fugitive from justice warrant.
Other individuals that have been arrested in connection with this crime are: Elizabeth Auxilien, 30; David Williams, 34; Christina Williams, 37; Heather Tate, 26; Anissa Hallmark, 48; Jeremy W. Jorden, 36; Brian E. Granger, 34; and Michael Auxilien, 32.
Of the nine individuals that were arrested, Hamm and Granger are the only two that still remain in custody, while the other seven have been released from jail on bond.
