Food drive

There was a food drive by Second Harvest and the Greater Eunice Ministerial Alliance Monday afternoon at Word Ministries parking lot. Volunteers handed out food items which included frozen meats and vegetables, fruits, rice, milk, bags of sweet potatoes and canned goods. According to Mary Ann Guillory, director at The Eunice Food Bank, “There were over 500 food boxes handed out, and 893 people served. I’m also thankful and grateful for the many volunteers that helped out with the distribution.” (Photo by Myra Miller)
