Letter to the editor
Mr. John Dupre, Mr. Lanny Moreau, Mr. Henry Monteith, Mr. Ryan Fontenot, Mr. Claude Oubre, Mr. Bergeron and Mr. Nassif to name a few persons who lived and worked in this Parish and did serve as superintendent of schools in St. Landry Parish. They were well versed in the operation of the school system, familiar with the residents and voters and did not require months to get adjusted to the job.…
