The Eunice High tennis team swept St. Edmund and tied Oakdale in a recent round robin at the Fairgrounds tennis complex.
Against St. Edmund, Eunice earned a 4-0 win.
In boys doubles, Zach Joubert and Ting Jiang rolled to an 8-1 win over St. Ed’s Pierson Brown and Ross Fontenot.
Also in boys doubles, Deacon Richard and Kia Matt earned an 8-5 victory over Caleb Fontenot and Doug Summerlin.
In girls doubles, Paisley Fruge and Sarah Gotreaux grabbed an 8-5 win over Lady Jays’ Savannah DeVillier and Tanzy Miller.
Also in girls doubles, Megan Fontenot and Emily Gotreaux rolled to an 8-0 win over Avery McGee and Ali Lantz.
Against Oakdale, Eunice High finished in a 3-3 tie.
In boys doubles, Joubert and Jiang battled to a 9-7 win over Cmryn Bullock and Daniel Rodriguez.
Oakdale’s Dawson Noblitt and Tyheim Waller rolled to an 8-1 win over Richard and Matte.
Trey Rollins and jacob Black downed Eunice’s Evan Fruge and Philipe Soileau.
In girls doubles, Fruge and Sarah Gotreaux fell 8-2 to Oakdale’s Madeline Jarnagin and Lexi Hankla.
Eunice’s Megan Fontenot and Emily Gotreaux earned an 8-4 win over LaKayla Simmons and Jayden Hartley.
Lady Cats Anya Williams and Melodee Kennedy grabbed an 8-6 win over Ailynn Jones and Amoni Williams.
Against Jennings, Eunice finished in a 6-6 tie.
In boys singles, Joubert earned an 8-2 win over Kain Babineaux.
Spencer Stelly downed EHS’ Matte, 8-2.
Bobcat Kaylup Campbell earned a 6-1 victory over Tidus Keiser.
In boys doubles, Joubert and Jiang grabbed an 8-2 over Slade Walker and Trey Williams.
Richard and Matte earned an 8-3 win over Cullen Lantz and Tylon Thibodeaux.
In girls singles, Jennings’ Caroline Van Hook grabbed a 8-1 win over Williams, while Maddie Futch battled for an 8-4 win over Kennedy.
Lady Cat Claire Durpau earned a 6-3 win over Riley Richard.
In girls doubles, Futch and VanHook grabbed an 8-3 victory over Fruge and Sarah Gotreaux.
