The Lady Bobcats improved to 4-2 on the season with a 3-1 win over Crowley.
In the first set, Crowley jumped out for a 5-1 lead before consecutive spikes by Gabrielle Mitchell helped Eunice close the gap to 5-3.
The Lady Cats later tied the game 6-6 on a dink by Sophie Vidrine and a CHS error.
The game was tied six more times as both teams fought for the upper hand.
A timely hit by Vidrine along with spikes by Mitchell and Saige Freeman helped the Lady Cats keep the game close.
A service ace by Vidrine gave the Lady Cats a 15-14 advantage, but Crowley rallied force a 16-16 tie.
Strong serves by Mitchell along with quality Lady Cat play capped by a spike by Allison Freeman pushed Eunice ahead, 23-16.
After an EHS error was followed by a Crowley miscue, Rylea Gradney’s kill sealed the Lady Cats’ 25-17 win.
The second set was also a battle throughout the contest before Eunice earned a 25-23 victory.
Tay Guidry’s kills and Lady Cat errors helped Crowley move ahead 9-5.
With Maci Vincent serving, Eunice rallied to force a 9-9 tie.
Crowley retook the advantage, but consecutive kills by Mitchell and several Ladies errors allowed Eunice to grab a 17-15 advantage.
Neither team could push ahead by more than two points as the game was tied four more times.
A kill by Madison Freeman and timely hit by Vidrine lifted Eunice to the second set 25-23 victory.
The Lady Cats opened the third set with kills by Mitchell and Allison Freeman but Crowley responded to force the first tie of the game.
An ace by Crowley’s Macy Butler and an EHS error gave the Ladies a one-point lead but a dink by Vidrine helped EHS respond for an 8-8 tie.
Crowley later moved ahead, 15-10 aided by two kills and two blocks by Tay Guidry.
Spikes by Allison Freema and Madison Freeman along with an ace by Isabella Brown pulled the Lady Cats closer, 18-15.
Consecutive errors by both teams allowed Crowley to stay ahead by five points.
A timely hit by Vidrine was followed by an EHS out of bounds hit as Crowley avoided the sweep with a 25-20 win.
The Lady Cats opened the fourth set with spikes by Mitchell, but an EHS hit into the net and two blocks and kill by Guidry gave Crowley a 5-2 advantage.
Hits by Mitchell, Vidrine and Freeman helped the Lady Cats tie the game, 5-5.
With Maci Vincent serving, Eunice went on a 12-0 run aided by numerous CHS errors and a spike by Mitchell.
With Eunice holding a 17-5 advantage, Crowley battled back with hits by Tay Guidry and Spiritual Guidry to close the gap to 19-11.
Mitchell’s kill combined with several errors by both teams closed the 25-19 final set win for the Lady Cats.
After facing St. Edmund on Saturday, Eunice will visit Westgate on Tuesday.
